Watermelon Red, White, and Blue Parfait: A Fresh Delight!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups watermelon cubed
  • 2 cups vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Start by preparing the fruit. Cube the watermelon, slice the strawberries, and wash the blueberries.
  2. In a clear glass or parfait dish, layer 1 cup of watermelon cubes at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt on top of the watermelon.
  4. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of blueberries over the yogurt.
  5. Add another layer of 1 cup of watermelon cubes.
  6. Top with another 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt and then layer with 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries.
  7. Drizzle honey over the top layer if desired for added sweetness.
  8. Finish with a few fresh mint leaves for garnish.
  9. Repeat the layering process in additional glasses if making more servings.
