Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly.
  3. Spread marinara sauce on the non-buttered sides of each slice.
  4. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on one slice, followed by the chicken patty, Italian seasoning, and the rest of the cheese.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing outward.
  6. Place the sandwich in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the air fryer, let it cool for a minute, slice, and serve with extra marinara sauce.
