Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
  2. Prepare the Steak: Pat flank steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté the Bell Peppers: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until softened. Set aside.
  4. Sear the Steak: In the same skillet, sear flank steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest.
  5. Create the Sauce: Lower heat, add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Add the Flavorful Components: Stir in soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar, simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Combine the Steak and Peppers: Return steak and bell peppers to the skillet, toss in sauce until evenly coated.
