Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 orange thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 lime thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 bottle 750 ml dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the sliced strawberries, orange, lemon, and lime. Sprinkle the sugar over the fruit and gently stir to combine. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the fruit to release its juices.
  2. Pour in the white wine and orange juice. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, add the club soda to the pitcher for a refreshing fizz. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
