Mix and Prepare
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, rolled oats, unsweetened milk, chia seeds or ground flax meal, vanilla extract, and salt. Add honey or maple syrup, then fold in chopped strawberries and softened cream cheese mixed with lemon zest and juice until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a jar or airtight container, leaving space at the top for expansion as the oats absorb liquid.
- Seal the jar securely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow flavors to meld.
- In the morning, enjoy the oats cold or warm them in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir well and top with additional strawberries or honey if desired.
