Ingredients

For the Kabobs
  • 1 box Brownie Mix Consider using a homemade brownie recipe for a personal touch.
  • 1 lb Fresh Strawberries Ensure berries are hulled and rinsed thoroughly.
  • 1 cup Marshmallows Can be replaced with banana slices or angel food cake cubes.
For the Drizzle
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Dark chocolate can be a healthier alternative.
Assembly Tools
  • 8 pieces Wooden Skewers Necessary for assembly.

Equipment

  • oven
  • Microwave
  • Wooden Skewers
  • mixing bowl
  • parchment paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your brownie mix according to the package instructions. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before cutting into 1-inch squares.
  2. While the brownies cool, rinse and hull your strawberries. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
  3. Grab your wooden skewers and thread the brownie squares, strawberries, and marshmallows, leaving space at the bottom for handling.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in short bursts, stirring in between, until smooth.
  5. Dip or drizzle the melted chocolate over the assembled kabobs and place them back on the parchment-lined tray.
  6. Refrigerate the kabobs for about 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

Ensure brownies are cooled entirely before cutting to maintain structure. Choose firm, ripe strawberries for the best flavor. Refrigerate after assembling for a neat presentation.
