Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a food processor or blender, combine the oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon or lime juice, garlic, grated ginger, red chili, and chopped lemongrass. Blend until smooth and season with salt.
  2. Marinate the Chicken Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each wing is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the Chicken Wings: Place the wings in the air fryer and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway until they are golden brown and have an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  5. Toast the Peanuts: Heat a small pan over medium heat, add the chopped peanuts and toast for about 5 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Remove the wings from the fryer, top with toasted peanuts, chopped chili, and spring onions for added flavor.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor infusion. Always cook wings in a single layer for even cooking.
