Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package 10 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce for serving

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. On a clean surface, lay out each triangle with the wide end facing you.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the spinach and cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  5. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
