Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet 1 ounce ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 slices cooked bacon chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken. Pour the chicken broth over the top.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the ranch mixture.
  4. Stir in the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
