  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted for optimal mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Can swap for fresh garlic.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley For garnish, can use dried.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over them.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes, then check for color change to opaque.
  5. Remove from oven, brush remaining glaze over the salmon, and return to oven for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let the salmon rest for about 2 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve alongside rice or steamed vegetables.
