Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Thaw the frozen chopped spinach, squeeze out excess water, and mix with ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry to a larger rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the spinach and ricotta mixture evenly over the pastry.
  4. Roll up the puff pastry tightly, pinch the seams to seal, and lay seam side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Chill the rolls in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  6. Slice the roll into 1-2 inch pieces, arrange on the baking sheet, and brush the tops with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving warm.
