Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped pepperoni, pasta sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- On a lightly floured surface, divide the thawed frozen bread dough into four equal portions and roll each into a 6-inch circle.
- Spoon about a scant 1/3 cup of the pepperoni filling onto one half of each dough circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place sealed calzones on a greased baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the calzones with milk and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, if desired.
- Bake the calzones for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
