Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks, browning the meat until it's fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, add three cloves of minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then mix in ¼ cup of low-sodium soy sauce, ¼ cup of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and allow the beef mixture to simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Prepare your cooked rice as the beef simmers. Once the beef mixture is done, serve it hot over the rice. Top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and freshly sliced green onions.
