Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 jar 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
  7. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
  8. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with spaghetti, on a sub roll, or over rice.
