  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 medium Onion Finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon Marjoram Italian seasoning can substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Adjust according to taste
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup Organic recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce works in pinch
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can replace with avocado oil

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of ketchup with Worcestershire sauce, stirring well.
  3. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over low heat and sauté the minced onion for 3-5 minutes.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onion, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/4 cup ketchup, salt, and marjoram. Mix gently.
  5. Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan, shape into a loaf, and spoon the reserved ketchup mixture over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
