Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, toss cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Spread the sweet potatoes onto a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. While the sweet potatoes are roasting, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up into small crumbles. Allow it to brown for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, drain any excess fat and stir in the remaining garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Drizzle half of the hot honey over the beef mixture and stir well to combine. Let it cook for an additional minute to meld the flavors.
  4. To assemble your bowl, start with a base of rice or quinoa, layer with seasoned ground beef, followed by roasted sweet potatoes, fresh avocado slices, and cilantro.
  5. Drizzle the remaining hot honey over the bowl's contents and serve immediately.
