Method

Preparation
  1. Start by grating one cucumber into a bowl and then squeeze out excess water. Mix with yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F to 400°F. Oil the grates with a paper towel dipped in vegetable oil.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, cilantro, minced garlic, diced jalapeño, cumin, paprika, lime juice, and cheddar. Season with salt and black pepper, mix gently.
  4. Divide mixture into six equal portions and shape each into a ¾ inch thick patty. Make an indentation in the center.
  5. Carefully grill patties for 5-6 minutes on one side, flip and grill for another 5-6 minutes. Check with a meat thermometer.
  6. Remove patties from the grill and cover with aluminum foil. Let them rest for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Toast buns on the grill. Assemble by placing a patty on each bun and top with guacamole, tomatoes, and lettuce, then tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Customize spice levels by deseeding jalapeños for milder flavor. Rest patties before serving for juiciness.
