Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Refreshing Dandelion Iced Tea
  1. Harvest and rinse dandelions thoroughly under cool running water.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. In a 1-gallon container, combine the rinsed dandelions and tea bags. Pour in the boiling water until about 1/3 full.
  4. Cover the container and steep for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Strain out the dandelions and tea bags using a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Sweeten the tea with sugar or honey while it’s still warm and then dilute with cold water to taste. Refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with a slice of lemon or mint if desired.
