  • ½ teaspoon Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil Or melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup Milk Dairy or plant-based
For the Glaze
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 1 cup Icing Sugar Sifted
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Use pure
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Pumpkin Spice Donuts
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Cream together butter, white sugar, and golden sugar until fluffy.
  3. Incorporate eggs and pumpkin purée followed by vanilla extract.
  4. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl and combine.
  5. Fill donut pan cavities about ¾ full and tap to remove air bubbles.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Beat cream cheese, butter, icing sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth for the glaze.
  9. Glaze cooled donuts by drizzling or dipping them in the glaze.
