Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, mix ground meat, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Add egg if using.
  4. Form patties from the meat mixture and place them on each cabbage slice, pressing down gently.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
  6. Broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, if desired.
