- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the tube of crescent roll dough and unroll it into 8 triangular sections.
- On the wider end of each triangle, place a generous portion of mozzarella cheese.
- Add several slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
- Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point and pinch the edges to seal them.
- If desired, beat an egg and brush it over the tops of the rolled croissants.
- Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Melt some butter and mix in Italian seasoning, then brush this over the tops of the rolls before baking.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes or until golden brown, then remove from oven and cool for about 3 minutes.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
