  • 1 tube Crescent Roll Dough
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese substitute with provolone or cheddar if desired
  • 1 cup Pepperoni use turkey or vegetarian pepperoni for healthier option
For the Finish
  • 1 large Egg optional for egg wash
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or use olive oil for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning customize with favorite herbs
For Dipping
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce optional for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the tube of crescent roll dough and unroll it into 8 triangular sections.
  3. On the wider end of each triangle, place a generous portion of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Add several slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point and pinch the edges to seal them.
  6. If desired, beat an egg and brush it over the tops of the rolled croissants.
  7. Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  8. Melt some butter and mix in Italian seasoning, then brush this over the tops of the rolls before baking.
  9. Bake for 12–14 minutes or until golden brown, then remove from oven and cool for about 3 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
