  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour the chicken broth and lemon juice into the skillet around the chicken breasts.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
