  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Using panko for extra crunch
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped; chives can be a good substitute
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced fresh garlic preferred
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Fresh grated ginger preferred
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Tamari for gluten-free version
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Olive oil can be a substitute
  • 1 large Egg Consider a flax egg for vegan option
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar Optional for sweetness
For the Spicy Mayo Dip
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt as a lighter alternative
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Lime juice can also substitute
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds For crunch and presentation
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green Onions For flavor and color

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, lemon juice, and a splash of soy sauce for the dip.
  6. Optionally garnish the dip with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  7. Serve the meatballs warm with the Spicy Mayo Dip.
