Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by boiling 2 cups of filtered water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Once boiling, add your chai tea bags or loose-leaf tea and let them steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea and let it cool before refrigerating for 30 minutes.
- While your chai cools, rinse 1 cup of fresh raspberries under cold water. Transfer the raspberries to a blender and add honey or your preferred sweetener. Blend until smooth, straining if you prefer a smoother texture.
- In a large mixing glass, combine the chilled chai tea with 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and the prepared raspberry purée. Stir gently to blend.
- Fill serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the raspberry chai mixture over the ice, then add milk or a dairy-free alternative.
- Garnish each drink with fresh raspberries and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure chai is chilled before mixing. Adjust sweetness based on raspberry tartness. Can be prepared ahead of time.
