Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, crack open four free-range eggs and add a pinch of kosher salt and a sprinkle of white pepper. Beat until fully combined and slightly frothy.
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and let it melt.
- Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, spreading them evenly. Allow to cook undisturbed for 5-7 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and place them butter-side up on a clean plate.
- Once the eggs are set, place the buttered bread slices on top of the eggs in the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes.
- Carefully slide a spatula beneath the sandwich and flip it over. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Layer a slice of cheddar cheese and several pieces of deli ham on the top slice of bread, and distribute any remaining scrambled egg on top.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the ingredients meld together.
- Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
