Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Thinly slice the rested chicken into strips. Place in a bowl and coat with teriyaki sauce, tossing gently to cover evenly.
- Prepare the vegetables by shredding the carrots and red cabbage. Chop the romaine lettuce. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
- Lay a warm tortilla flat, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise (if using), then stack teriyaki chicken, shredded carrots, cabbage, and romaine lettuce. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly.
- Slice each wrap in half on a diagonal and serve fresh or pack in lunchboxes.
Notes
Wrap storage: Keep assembled wraps in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Store sauces separately.
