Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 1 lb salmon fillet (skinless) Any firm white fish can work as an alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil You can use melted butter for a richer taste.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh is best) Bottled lemon juice can be used in a pinch.
For the Crust
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated) If Parmesan isn’t available, Grana Padano or Pecorino Romano will work well.
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley or chopped fresh parsley Feel free to use fresh basil or dill as alternatives.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 small clove garlic (minced) Using fresh garlic will provide a stronger flavor profile.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste) Adjust to suit your taste or dietary needs.
