Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups Chicken Breasts Finely diced
  • 1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce Substitute with teriyaki if desired
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Can use olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Substitute for tamari if gluten-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic Freshly minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Fresh minced or ground
For the Slaw
  • 4 cups Asian-Inspired Slaw Pre-packaged or homemade
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is a substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Maple syrup for vegan alternative
For Assembly
  • 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers Can use lettuce wraps for low-carb
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Optional
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Optional for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare wonton wrappers by spraying with cooking spray or brushing with olive oil.
  2. Bake wonton wrappers for 7-8 minutes until pliable and slightly golden, then return to oven for an additional 7-8 minutes until crispy.
  3. Mix diced chicken with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger; let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Sauté marinated chicken in a large skillet over high heat for 7-8 minutes until cooked through and no longer pink.
  5. Combine slaw ingredients in a bowl and mix well; let sit while assembling tacos.
  6. Assemble tacos by filling wonton cups with chicken and topping with slaw and sweet chili sauce. Garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds if desired.
