Ingredients
  

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon skin-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and add the butter to the skillet. Allow the butter to melt and spoon it over the salmon for flavor.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, parsley, and dill. Pour this mixture over the salmon in the skillet.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
