  • 8 oz. Spaghetti Should be cooked al dente.
  • 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded Consider mixing with Monterey Jack for depth.
  • 1 cup Fresh Bell Peppers, chopped Substitute with zucchini or spinach if desired.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of Chicken Soup Can be replaced with homemade cream sauce.
  • 1 tsp. Paprika Try smoked paprika for a different flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste or omit for milder flavor.
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, sliced Works great as a garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large casserole dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Set aside to cool.
  3. Boil salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente, approximately 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, drained spaghetti, cream of chicken soup, chopped bell peppers, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased casserole dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the edges are bubbly and the cheese is golden and melted.
  7. Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before garnishing with green onions and serving.
