Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper and pound to about ¼ inch thickness.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. On each chicken breast, layer slices of ham and Swiss cheese. Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Dredge each rolled chicken in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat butter and olive oil in an oven-proof skillet. Brown the chicken rolls for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Prepare the cream sauce by warming heavy cream and whisking in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer until thickened.
  9. Remove the chicken from the oven, discard toothpicks, let rest, then slice and serve topped with cream sauce and garnished with parsley.
