  • 8 oz Boursin Cheese The star of the dish; substitute with any creamy cheese spread if needed.
For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups Broccoli Feel free to swap for spinach or peas.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced; garlic powder may be used if fresh is not available.
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Can use butter for a richer flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.

Equipment

  • large pot
  • Colander
  • spatula

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve a cup of the starchy pasta water.
  2. In the same pot, return to medium heat and add olive oil. Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Lower heat and stir in Boursin cheese, breaking it apart as it melts to create a creamy sauce, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return pasta to the pot and toss with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed to adjust the sauce consistency.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, plate the pasta warm, and garnish with fresh herbs or extra cheese if desired.
