Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened salted butter and white sugar for 3 to 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add a large egg and mashed bananas to the butter-sugar mixture and blend until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this into the wet mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar until combined to create the cinnamon swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter, and top with the rest of the cinnamon swirl.
- Gently swirl the batter and cinnamon mixture with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare the cream cheese frosting by combining softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Once the bread is cool, spread the cream cheese frosting generously over the top.
- Slice and serve with a hot beverage of your choice.

Notes
Ensure bananas are very ripe for maximum sweetness. Over-mixing can lead to a dense loaf. Fresh baking soda is crucial for proper rising.
