Meatball Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Assembly
- In a pot, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warm.
- Add the baked meatballs to the marinara sauce and let them simmer for 5 minutes.
- To serve, place meatballs and sauce inside the sub rolls, top with mozzarella cheese, and serve warm.
