Sauce and Toppings
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 4 sub rolls Submarine Buns For serving
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded, for topping

Method
 

Meatball Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Assembly
  1. In a pot, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warm.
  2. Add the baked meatballs to the marinara sauce and let them simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. To serve, place meatballs and sauce inside the sub rolls, top with mozzarella cheese, and serve warm.
