- In a medium saucepan, melt the ghee over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in chopped red onion and sauté for 2 minutes, then add chopped green chilli and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
- Lower heat, stir in garam masala and turmeric. Mix in the drained baked beans, letting them simmer for 2 minutes. Add water if the mixture is too thick.
- Toast the bread until golden brown and crispy, then spread the Cheesy Masala Beans mixture on each slice.
- Preheat your grill (broiler) on high, cover each slice with grated Cheddar and Red Leicester cheese, and grill for about 3-5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Carefully remove the toasts from the grill, slice into triangles, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
