  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour in the milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute until smooth.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into strips or desired shapes.
  7. Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the breadsticks.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
