Pour in the milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute until smooth.
Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into strips or desired shapes.
Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
In a small bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the breadsticks.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
