Place the smoked salmon pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the salmon generously with the maple mixture, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is caramelized and slightly sticky.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
While the salmon cools, spread a layer of cream cheese on each mini bagel or cracker.
Top each cream cheese spread with a piece of the candied smoked salmon.
Garnish with chopped fresh dill before serving.
