Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked quinoa
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 avocado diced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup pickles sliced
  • ¼ cup your favorite burger sauce ketchup, mustard, or a special sauce

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  3. In serving bowls, layer the cooked quinoa as the base.
  4. Top the quinoa with the cooked meat mixture, followed by cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, diced avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, and pickles.
  5. Drizzle your favorite burger sauce over the top before serving.
