  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk Do not substitute.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce Salted caramel is a great choice.
  • 1 container Cool Whip Can be replaced with freshly whipped cream.
For the Garnish
  • 2 bars Heath Bars (chopped) Can swap with crushed cookies or other candy bars.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Better Than Anything Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Devil’s Food cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  3. Once finished baking, let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes evenly across the top.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the warm cake and let it absorb for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cake and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Once chilled, spread Cool Whip on top of the cake.
  8. Sprinkle chopped Heath bars over the Cool Whip, gently pressing them down.
