- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill (for garnish)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 package of mini bagels or crackers (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Place the smoked salmon pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the salmon generously with the maple mixture, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is caramelized and slightly sticky.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- While the salmon cools, spread a layer of cream cheese on each mini bagel or cracker.
- Top each cream cheese spread with a piece of the candied smoked salmon.
- Garnish with chopped fresh dill before serving.
