Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the green cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact.
  3. Sear each cabbage wedge in olive oil for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the cabbage and sauté chopped red onion until softened, then add minced garlic.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, then whisk in the cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and dried herbs, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Return the seared cabbage to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove lid or foil, baste with sauce, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.
