Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Slow Cooker Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwiches, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken. Pour the chicken broth over the top.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the ranch mixture.
  4. Stir in the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the slow cooker with the chicken.
  • You can also substitute the cheddar cheese with pepper jack cheese for an extra layer of flavor.
