- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken. Pour the chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the ranch mixture.
- Stir in the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the slow cooker with the chicken.
