- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- In the last minute of cooking, spoon pizza sauce over each patty, then top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Cover the grill or skillet to help melt the cheese.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding any additional toppings you desire. Garnish with fresh basil if using.

- For a healthier option, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
- Add your favorite pizza toppings, such as bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives, to the patties before cooking for extra flavor.
