Paris Mash is a creamy potato delight made with Yukon Gold potatoes, butter, and milk, perfect as a side dish.

- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a generous pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the butter, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or a ricer until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the chopped chives if using, and adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, substitute half of the milk with sour cream or cream cheese.
- Add grated cheese, such as cheddar or Parmesan, for extra flavor and richness.
