- 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese and half of the green onions, if using.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle the crushed crackers over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and use low-fat cream cheese.
- To add some veggies, mix in 1 cup of frozen peas or chopped broccoli before baking.
