Description
A delicious and healthy grilled salmon recipe topped with fresh mango salsa for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is grilling, prepare the mango salsa. In a medium bowl, combine diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the grilled salmon topped with the fresh mango salsa.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the salmon in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before grilling.
- You can also substitute the mango with pineapple or peach for a different twist on the salsa.
