Description
A delicious recipe for grilled marinated beef kabobs, perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- 8 skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between the beef and vegetables.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with rice or a fresh salad.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding cherry tomatoes or zucchini to the skewers.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, marinate the beef with a teaspoon of red pepper flakes or serve with a spicy dipping sauce.
