- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and parsley. Mix well.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, about 5-6 shrimp per skewer.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve the skewers over a bed of rice or alongside a fresh salad for a complete meal.
