Description
Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender pieces of sirloin steak cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the steak pieces generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and thyme. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce for about 1-2 minutes to coat.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic.
- Serve the steak bites over a bed of sautéed vegetables or alongside a fresh salad for a complete meal.
