- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the garlic butter mixture.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers, making sure they are close together but not overcrowded.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- Substitute the shrimp with scallops or chicken for a different protein option. Adjust cooking times accordingly.
